Sanctuary Phoenix
Kanadensisk humanoid byggd ovanpå Sanctuary AI:s Carbon-AI-stack.
Pilotinstallationer
- Magna (kanadensisk biltillverkare-leverantör): pick-and-place
- Canadian Tire (detaljhandel): logistikuppgifter
- Sanctuary håller fler piloter konfidentiella
Sverige-vinkel
Inga svenska piloter publikt kända.

Recensioner och citat
We designed Phoenix to be the most sensor-rich and physically capable humanoid ever built and to enable Carbon’s rapidly growing intelligence to perform the broadest set of work tasks possible.

With Generation 7, we have a system that we believe is the most closely analogous to a person of any available. We see this as not only the cornerstone of general purpose AI robotics but a critical step on the path to artificial general intelligence, and we’re thrilled to be leading the charge on it.

Sanctuary AI's Phoenix (7th–8th generation as of 2026) features 20–21 DoF per hand driven by a proprietary hydraulic system. Hands include micro-barometer-based tactile arrays (7 cells per finger pad) with sensitivity of 5 mN (near-human level). Hydraulic actuation provides high force density and compliance, enabling the robot to perform 98% of warehouse manual tasks with high fidelity.
